Now I love Call of Duty 4 on the Sony PS3 and never put the controller down, yes I would say I am addicted but and a big but the all new Battlefield: Bad Company game which is being released on the Xbox 360 and the PS3 will be a game I will definitely be buying.
I would even go as far and judging by this Battlefield: Bad Company Explosive Buildings Gameplay video trailer below being better than CoD4. I may be wrong but I hope I am right.

Finally, dude you are way right. the COD4 i think actually took the pc version of battlfield’s idea’s. with unlocks and modes. COD4 got old on some modes, people throwing nothing but grenades towards spawn points and stuff. BF is what multiplayer warfare is all about. i was hooked on the demo. i just got the game, and i dispised the BF Modern Combat, but this is worthy of the BF name. its drives me crazy how so called gamers have to compare every game to Halo or COD4, they were fun yes, but please. try something different for a change why waste all your time on one game? but you i will be playing this for a long time. plenty to unlock and rank up and promises for free game modes like Conquest to be released this game with destructable environments, vehicles, tanks and flyable helicopters is a beauty of a game, no framerate drops either very nicely done DICE. i was an advidt fan of the pc battfield (except 2142) and will be an advidt fan on this version. see ya on the Battlefield!!!
