There have been many claims of offering operating systems specifically designed for cheap laptops and low-cost UMPCs, so the question is how good does it know that UMPC & cheap laptops are to get Linux-based OS from Linpus?
Well Linpus have just released such a thing, Linpus have just released their new Linpus Linux Lite OS which will run fine on laptops such as the CloudBook and the Asus Eee PC or basically any other system which as at least 500MHz CPU, 512MB of storage and 128MB of RAM.
The new OS is apparently designed with low resolution inch screens in mind so there is a thought. The bad news is it does not include support for built-in WiFi out of the box.
Anyway check out the sources below for more info, the Linpus.com link has the Live CD direct.
