Hollyoaks’ Sarah Jayne Dunn To Star In The Dark Knight?

We have two very cool Dark Knight rumours for you. They’re both unconfirmed, but it has been reported that the crazy lover of The Joker, Harley Quinn, is appearing in the film and she’ll be played by none other than Mandy from Hollyoaks aka Sarah Jayne Dunn!

Apparently the rumour flew around a while ago but it passed me by. The part has now appeared on her CV which is on her managers website (check it out here). Surely if it’s on the girls CV it has to be legit?

Director Christopher Nolan denied the character was even in the movie way back when it was rumoured the role had gone to Sarah Michelle Gellar. How confusing!

If it is true, it’s a total career makeover for Dunn, who is best known for her turn as Mandy in the totty-filled, sex-fuelled teen soap that is Hollyoaks.

I hope, for Sarah’s sake, that she’s got the part - it would be good to see Harley Quinn in The Dark Knight and it’d be even sweeter if the role was played by one of our own!
