The Justice League Of America Movie Is Back On Track For 2009

No one was more happy that the Writers’ Strike was over than I was. Ok, so I guess the writers were pretty happy to be earning a wage again but the end of the strike meant that scribes Kieran and Michele Mulroney could get back to work on the final draft of the Justice League of America script!
Warner Bros have announced that the JLA movie is back on for 2009 with George Miller currently prepping for the film in Australia .
Justice League of America will see the likes of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern and The Flash join together to fight crime and make the world a better place.
Yes, the cast is a bit young: Adam Brody (The Flash), Common (Green Lantern), Armie Hammer (Batman) and Megan Gale (Wonder Woman) but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be bad! I’m still super excited for this film!
No word on Superman yet, although D.J Cotrona is still being linked to the role. With my hopes of Tom Welling playing the role well and truly dashed, I’m now considering other options. Maybe Warner Bros. should bring Brandon Routh in? He was the only good thing in Superman Returns and I wholeheartedly believe that he deserves a second chance.

Meh. I was hoping the puke cast had killed this coming flop. If it must happen somebody better hit the director upside the head and tell him to fire all the actors and start over.
I don’t know too much of the other actors, but Adam Brody is a very talented actor in my opinion and one that doesn’t get enough recognition or project since ‘The OC’ finished. Hopefully this will get him more of the recognition he deserves.
I will definitely be watching this film and I’m sure Adam wont disappoint.
I wish they would use the cast from Smallville for the movie. The Green Arrow and Martian Manhunter are especially great. For the role of Superman, there is no one for that role other than Tom Welling as far as I’m concerned. It’s a joke that he won’t be playing Superman in this movie and all future movies. He’s a wonderful actor who is underutilized in Hollywood.

I can’t understand why people insist on Tom Welling for Superman role, he was casted for a TV Series with no relation to Superman story, following their producers rules just to have something to fill some air time…
C’mon be realistic, Superman should be somebody not related to smallville, same for the rest of the Justice League; Clark never meet the other team members while living in Smallville, same for Louis Lane, she meet Clark in Metropolis….
Please, just let go that TV show, that was good for a while, but keep in mind that it’s not related to Superman original storyline.
