Apple Penryn MacBook Pro: is the CPU any good?
There has been so much hype about the new MacBook Pro that is being powered by the new Penryn CPU, the 45nm mobile processor from Intel. However people have been wondering “is it any good?” and that is a question that anandtech have tries to answer.

What they did find out was that although the Intel Penryn CPU does not improve the performance of the MacBook Pro, it does help to improve the battery life. And that is one area that many business people on the move are interested in.
