Turkey Point reactor causes major Florida power outage and blackout in Miami
Reports are coming in about a huge equipment failure at the Florida Power & Light substation, causing a power outage. According to News Press people in the area might have to face a blackout if the problem is not fixed by nightfall. The cause of the power outage is due to two nuclear reactors falling at Turkey Point.

It is thought that over 800,000 FP&L customers in Miami Florida are without power; however thanks to some quick work form crews from the power company power has been restored to over 200,000 people. It is hoped that power will be restored by 5 P.M. local time.
