Justine The Futuristic Butler Can Make Coffee On Demand

By the time I become rich enough to afford a maid or butler, it looks like they’ll be replaced by robots like this one! Bruno Sicilano, a professor at Naples university is currently working on a 6.3 million Euro project called DEXMART. The aim of the project Is to create Justine - a robot who can make instant coffee in, well, an instant!
Where as traditional robots find it hard to match human dexterity when performing two-handed tasks, Sicilano is working on giving Justine a system of two-handed manipulation with sensors which make the robot conscious of its surroundings.
Is Sicilano is successful, we’ll soon find robots doing the cleaning, cooking and ironing while we sit back and let technology take over! Check out the video of Justine in action below.
