How many people playing online: Call of Duty 4 (COD4) vs Halo 3

These games cannot even be compared. There is no reason not to own both of them. I switch back and forth between them when one starts frustrating me. These are easily the two best FPS out there.

halo 3 sucks! play gears of war or something worthwhile, even halo 2 is better despite all the money they put into halo 3 biggest let down since kane andlynch (or was that ot after). anyway i guess thats opinion if you like it play it.

It is a true fact that 7-8 million people play Halo 3 a day. Call of duty, only 1.3 million. I have looked on bungie.net and ubisoft.com to compare the numbers. Sometimes, 400,00 people are playing halo 3 simotaneously.

Halo 3 is so garbage compared to COD4! There are just fanboys and noobs who are not good enough for COD4 and are too scared to even touch it. COD4 is a way better game than Halo 3 and deserves more players! The most i ever saw play since WAW came out was 50k on Xbox Live. I still see 200k people playing halo 3 which is a huge upset because Halo is not even that good. L/

lol cod 4 is awesome because u actually use ur guns. maps are way more complicated too. halo 3 is fun but mostly its just a bunch of idiots hopping around with gravity hammers and what not. i hate games like halo and gears cause guns in those games are underpowered. its not about who’s more skilled, but instead who can get the rocket launcher or spartan laser or energy sword first.

How are guns in Halo 3 underpowered? You don’t see the professional gamers running for the Gravity Hammers or Energy Swords. The skilled players use guns (such as BR’s and Snipers), your probably not one so you wouldn’t know.

Isn’t that the whole point of Halo? Halo is all about weapon placement. Call of Duty is about classes.

I like both, personally. In my opinion, Call of Duty has a better campaign, but Halo has better multiplayer.

Well CoD4 has a much wider audience so it is played way way more than Halo3.

Also Halo3 really is about who can get the better weapon first on a map.
