Glu Mobile News: Ice Age movie game coming to a mobile phone near you

Glu Mobile revealed last week at the GDC that they have just signed a contract with Fox Mobile Entertainment to move forward in developing content and games upon the Ice Age brand.

Everyone loved the animated movie Ice Age (Well I did anyway) so what better way to see more of it than on your mobile phone as a game.

The all new recently formed partnership means that there will be a mobile exclusive Mammoth Mayhem game which we should all get by next summer on our mobile phones.

They are also planning on releasing a tie-in game to the new Ice Age 3 movie in 2009 around about July time which is good news; Glu said that the new franchise to date has been a continuing success with Artic Slide taking the top slot in its games for the year 2006.
