MacWorld UK have recently given the Apple Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Server a whopping 4 stars out of 5 which is a great rating indeed. Macworld have a very detailed look into the Apple Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Server with many pros and cons to help you along the way.
For example the pros include superb built-in wiki and blogging services, New Calendar server, improved administration and monitoring tools, better cross-platform integration and simpler installation modes.
Now moving onto the cons which include GUI administration tools can be limiting for experienced administrators, many services don’t work well with non-Mac clients, limited client support for CalDAV and iChat Server and some features available in simpler installation types not available in Advanced installation.
The question is “Is the Mac OS X 10.5 Server worth the £319 (US$499)?
