Two Toshiba Satellite laptops A300 and P300 to feature Intel Penryn processors

Toshiba have announced that two of their latest laptops, the Satellite A300 and P300 are to feature the Intel Penryn Mobile Processor. The smaller one of the two notebooks is the Satellite A300, with its 15.4 inch screen fingerprint reader, Harman Kardon speakers a choice of Core 2 Duo T5550 and Core 2 Duo T8100 Penryn processors, or the AMD Turion TL-60 instead.

The Toshiba Satellite P300 laptop comes with all the same features, but with a 17-inch display instead. The price for the smaller A300 is €999, that’s $1,480. While the AMD version will cost only €799, that’s $1,184. As yet there is no pricing for the P300 version.
