Following on from the news the other day from Cheap TV that Pioneer are to start producing LCD TVs, it now seems as if the consumer electronics giant have decided to end producing 42-inch plasma screen televisions.
Pioneer is thought to be concentrating on their 50-inch models instead. The Kagoshima plant owned by Pioneer which produces the 42-inch screen will go up for sale in March 2009. Pioneer still plan to sell 42-inch models, however most of the parts will come from Hitachi instead.
