Oscar fashion 2008: red and black dresses most popular

Ok so we knew from the start that this year’s 2008 Oscars ceremony was going to be a subdued event, as a result of the recent Writers Guild strike, but that would never stop what people always call Oscar Fashion. According to Style.com, it seems as if the most popular colors of dresses on the night were red and black.

One of the best black dresses on Oscar night had to be the Oscar de la Renta dress worn by Jennifer Garner with its flamenco skirt style. The best red dress I would have to say went to Anne Hathaway in her Marchesa gown.
