While the Democratic race is really heating up between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, they have made the race for Democratic nomination one of the closest we have seen. On the republican side, the Internet has always backed Ron Paul for many reasons, but it clearly looks like 2008 is not his year.
I really felt Ron Paul would do much better than he has and its sad to say that the next time we see a presidential election, Ron Paul will honestly be too old. Barack Obama’s message of hope and change is moving voters and unless the Super Delegates stick with Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama looks to be the next US president. If you spend sometime online, and read in places not controlled you will see Ron Paul is the man America really wants.
Do you want Ron Paul to win and do you think he has any chance?

It doesn’t matter how wonderful a message Dr. Paul has. The fact remains that the masses are asses. People have gotten soft and fat and will generally vote for the candidate that promises more favorable short term solutions. These short term solutions are provided by heavily taxing people that earn more money. This socialistic wealth redistribution is what America wants. They don’t want to work hard and be responsible for themselves. They don’t want asset backed currency. They want their nanny government. If you think you can achieve freedom by convincing a bunch of idiots to vote for freedom in rigged elections, then you have an impossible journey in front of you. Civil disobedience and secession are the true means towards change. If you hate how other people decide to spend your money and take away your freedoms. Stop giving them money.
Paulitician…Then those that support the short term solutions have a drastic wake up call coming. If we continue on our path of insanity I foresee the day of a financial collapse of our wonderful nation…It is withing a couple of decades…When the hungry come pouring out of the cities it’s not going to be pretty!
Any other number crunchers out there?
I think a lot of folks have underestimated the acumen with which Dr. Paul has played the game to win the election. He’s rightfully given his grass roots the estimation they deserve, knowing that they are the key to success. He knows that his supporters are sold on the ideas he’s espoused, and their numbers will only grow. This phenomenon really has the GOP over a barrel, because they know that without R.P. supporters, they have no prayer of winning. The most they can hope for is being held up to ridicule if they run anybody else. Let’s look at this, shall we?
Yellow dog GOPers-20-30%(MC+ Huck split) -R. P. supporters- 10-30%= 35-50% of the electorate ( no way to determine exactly, due to election rigging)
Then you’ve got your 3rd party block which could only go to 1. Ron Paul, 2. independent candidates, or 3. a democrat (definitely not for GOP candidate other than R.P.)=20-30% of the electorate
And finally you’ve got the democratic side of the equasion, where you’ve got
Yellow dog dems-20% , anti war dem voters- 10-20%= 35-40% of the electorate Now when you look at these numbers and move them around you see that the most significant variable is the candidacy of Ron Paul (or lack thereof.) Should the GOP not pick Dr. Paul, let’s look at what happens. They’re left without R.P. supporters, 95% of whom will jump ship for a third party candidate ( or less likely, a dem.) You may also have some conservatives, realizing their plight , jumping ship for a Constitution or Libertarian candidate. This leaves them with, best case scenario-20-30% of the electorate, a joke of a candidacy by any estimation. Result- dissolution of the GOP due to this and continuing disrepute due to GWB admin.
Now look at what happens if they DO pick the right candidate (Ron Paul.) They get the yellow dog GOP vote (chance 1-5% of left wing will jump ship for communist party after their conversion of GOP threatened)-19-26% of the electorate, then you’ve got the Ron Paul grass roots, amounting, by election time to in the area of 35-40% of the electorate, but even if you use the current estimates of 10-30% of the electorate. Then you’ve got the estimated 20-30% of indy voters at least 80% of which will get behind R.P. as a Peace candidate, which gives you another18-30% of the electorate. And finally, you’ve got the disenchanted democratic voters who will bound overboard to vote for a bona fide anti war candidate. I estimate the number of dems disgusted after the ‘06 election to be 25-40%, equaling out to 10-15% of the electorate.
So let’s look at the totals, and please; if I’m way off base here, show me where my miscalculations are. Now, we have
19-26%-yellow dogs
10-40%- Ron Paul grass roots
18-30%-independents
10-15%- anti-war democrats
———
57-100% total support for the GOP candidate. Of course the Best case scenario would,in actuality not be 100%. This is a total of best cases, but the total could be very high. The worst case scenario couldn’t be much lower than 57%.
So let’s compare the GOP’s choices in ‘08
McCain or Huckabee-20-30% of electorate
Ron Paul-57-100% of the electorate
Now you can bet the GOP has already crunched these numbers, and you can bet on frequent underwear changes.
The democrats are not guaranteed to win either if the GOP runs a dead dog against them. we can crunch the numbers there as well. The two possible scenarios are that a strong third party candidate will emerge or that they won’t.
First you’ve got the yellow doggers15-20% of the electorate, then you’ve got irate dems who are still livid after ‘06 betrayal. Probably 30% of these will hold their noses and vote dem. amounting to another 5-7% of the electorate. Then you’ve got uninformed Indy’s who’ll vote dem. in order to ensure GOP failure. I figure another 3-7% of the electorate. this will depend on the viability of the third party candidate, and finally you’ve got Ron Paul supporters and GOPers (Coulter, et al) who’ll hold their noses and vote dem. This should be another 3-7% of the electorate .
On the other side of the equasion you’ve got a strong third party candidate or a number of write in campaigns, in any event you’ve got 1. A majority of Ron Paul grass roots who will never vote dem. You’re looking at between15 and 30% of the electorate. Then you’ve got 2. the majority of the indy voters who will reject the 4 more years of business as usual that both the GOP and the dems represent. The weakness of the other two parties will embolden them in voting third party. I figure between15 and25% of the electorate. Then you’ve got 3. a huge group of dems who have vowed not to be betrayed again by the dem. party and will gladly jump ship in support of a strong anti war, constitutionalist platform. you can estimate between10 and 20% of the electorate.
So, lets read ‘em and weep.
vote % based on no third party threat:
15-20%- yellow dog dems
5-7% -gagging irate dems
3-7%- uninformed indys.
3-7%- R.P. and Coulterite voters
——–
26-41% of the electorate, total. Not particularly appetizing, best case they may win.
on the other hand we have voting third party:
15-30%- resolute R3volutionaries
15-25%- Independents rejecting current state of affairs
10-20%- democrats delighted to stick it to their betrayers
———–
35-75% total third party voters. Best case would not likely approach 75%, but even worst case makes it a close race with the others’ best case.
So the Democratic party doesn’t have an easy row to hoe either. I recommend buying stock in Fruit of the Loom or Hanes.
Of course the NWO can game the election, but they’d have to work every angle in both parties to reasonably expect public acceptance of the results. I predict that they’ll retrench and let the people speak for now, too many of us are paying attention. They can always pull a JFK at their leisure after some of us have gone back to sleep. I’m open to other interpretations. Thank You.
Well, we’re among the first Americans to enjoy the benefits of the new fascist state of Amerexida. Wow so that’s how it feels. Ladies I am so sorry for all the times.. Well anyway, you get the idea. So I guess Ted Gunderson will have no shortage of recruits to sign up for his class action lawsuit against the media alleging treason, racketeering, etc. You might look into this. The complaint reserves the right for victims to execute citizen’s arrests of any of the offending media moguls. Or, hey, why don’t we steal a play from King George’s playbook and hire some out of work schoolyard bullies from brownshirt–err blackshirt–err oh yeah –Blackwater to “disappear” some of these election rigging officials and use some ” agressive interrogation” techniques on em to find out who is giving the orders and just work our way to the top? We could always return the poor suicide victims to their families with a note explaining how they shot themselves in the head three times. I’m sure they’ll understand. But wait. I forgot. We’re not psychopaths. I only hope all of the brain damaged victims of the Iraq and Afghanistan horrors are as evenly balanced as most of the rest of us and don’t clean out a couple of these media viper dens because that’d be all this Washington bunch’d need to really stomp down on our necks. The longer we can put that off the stronger we’ll be. What amazes me is that one misinformed pundit can describe a slavering hell hound (McCain) as the peace candidate and it can translate into a whole state voting for him. I guess if you live long enough you’ll see everything. Much like a few tears squoze out of a rotting corpse can flip the vote by 21% And the way hundreds of media outlets synchronistically accidentally omit the same guy. Do tell. I believe Samuel Clemens said something to the effect of “The reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.” Maybe that’s it. did anybody check the journals obits for the Good Doctor to see if he “accidentally” was listed there? Hopefully it’s not another one of those deals where the presenter is announcing the building having fallen with it still evident through the glass behind her. I guess that’s why they pay her the big money, to be able to know the news before it’s on the teleprompter. I heard she’s on the “most requested” list at the psychic friends network. Anyway, about the primaries, buck up! All the monopolizing going on in the media is going to work in our favor because every red blooded American who sees what is going on will have to finally admit to him or her self that the criminality is to a point that even they must object or at least do something. We believers have fasted and prayed that these miscreants would have their deeds turned against them and if you look back, every time they attempt another outrage, they lose. One example? Ol’ Rudy slammed Ron for daring to mention blowback. Where’s Nasferatu now? Probably doin’ the canne–canne in Greenwich Villiage. Trust that the righteous will be vindicated. The public surely has had their brains addled by the NWO but they can’t seem to obliterate our basic good nature. That’s why they hate us. Anyway at this stage of the game, virtue is just goin’to have to be its own reward. Thank you for your forebearance during the rant.
His perserverence and dedication will increase mainstream support. America loves the underdog (look at the national support the NY Giants won against the Pats)
America has reached an all time low and I don’t think many Americans realize exactly where we are and what it means to have lost everything our country was founded on. The more this information leaks into the mainstream, the more folks will back Ron Paul.
He is the only hope for justice, and any chance at reversing what has happened to our liberties with the current administration. All the other canidates are just an extension of the same evil arm holding the American Values by the throat!
yes if Ron Paul does not win the Republican nomination, which he does still have a chance and is still getting my vote, the obama will win. Id rather him win than McCain but they both are no good. If RP would have had the fair coverage of media like every single other candidate had then he would WITHOUT A DOUBT be the frontrunner. And everybody who is now voting McCain because they think he won already, needs to quit, we are votingfor the good of our future and country. Dont pick who your told to pick, pick who is the better man to run the country. If im playing i dont kno basketball for instance im not picking the best looking player im picking the one that is going to help my team the most. The candidate that will help this country the most is Ron Paul. Corporate media is a weapon of mass destruction that seems to have been dropped on America. Go to RonPaul2008.com and quit ruining this country. If we as a nation were to ever be destroyed, we should not be destroyed from the inside but the out
Yes, I would like Ron Paul to win, but I don’t think he has much of a chance.
Why voting for Ron Paul is not “throwing away my vote”: My vote is supposed to stand for the person that I believe is the most qualified / dignified man to SERVE as the President of the United States. I am looking for someone that is loyal to ideals of our founding fathers and the Constitution that protects our individual liberties. I look at the man’s record - does his rhetoric line up with his actions. Do his values represent my values? The only candidate in either party that stands up to my criteria is Congressman Ron Paul!
When I cast my vote, I’m not placing odds on whether or not I can pick the winner. When someone asks me who I’m voting for they are not asking me who I think will win. They are asking me who I think SHOULD win. My answer is Ron Paul.
I will also write his name in the ballot since the GOP and the sheep that line up behind them are too stupid or corrupt to give him the proper media coverage / respect / support / votes to put him on the ballot themselves.
If the Republican party really wanted another Republican in the White House they would have supported Ron Paul from the beginning.
If the media really wanted an honest man in the White House, if they really wanted to see an end to this war and economic prosperity for our children’s future they would have thumbed their noses at whoever is pulling their strings and given him the support he deserves.
Don’t believe anything you hear coming from the “news” or the “politicians”. This whole election thing is nothing more theater.
Do your own research. There is sooooo much to learn about what is really going on.
Our founding fathers gave us each one bullet to fire on election day! I will fire mine as a write in for Ron Paul! The media is trying to force their chosen ones down our throat! Fire your shot!
Who is really to blame for Ron Paul not receiving the landslide of support that he deserves? I’m going to have to say the media for ignoring and ridiculing him, the American people for believing the media, and the corrupt voting system, which allows blatant stealing of votes.
I believe the numbers and percentages are much higher than any of the primaries reported, that Ron Paul has twice as many supporters as the media would have you think, and that if you truly believe that good can overcome evil, there is a still a chance that Ron Paul might win. Anything is possible.
But the sorrow I feel that we have allowed America to become a police state where we are ruled by fear where our liberties and monies are controlled by the government (everyone is a potential terrorist and the IRS has to obey no laws) is still very real.
I pray that at least enough of us have woken up and will start to fight back against the tyranny and corruption that will surely continue with McCain, Hillary or Obama.
And for that I will be forever grateful to the good, wise Dr. Ron Paul — the bravest man in the country.
