Toshiba launches Camileo Pro HD camcorder

As some of us are aware Toshiba is currently launching its new range of electronics for 2008.
And this stylish Camileo Pro HD camcorder which is said to retail at under £150 is just one of the latest.
This Camileo Pro HD is not just a camcorder although the five megapixel CMOS sensor can shoot high definition video footage for playback straight to your HD-ready TV via the HDMI connectivity.
But it features 128MB of storage 3x optical and 4x digital zoom, voice recording, MP3 player and even a webcam.
It’s said that this camcorder will be available in April this year.

What a great product! I have never seen such an awesome design, absolutely fantastic … there are so many lousy camcorders out there which look like crap, I am happy to see a design that is attractive. Toshiba has done a really good job! More of that!!
I especially like the name of that camcorder! Where does it come from? Camileo? Camel? Leo? Sounds like little toy or an animal, like a whale or a fish or somethin like that …
Great camera for that price, don’t need a 500+euro Canon or Sony. Nice sharp video on LCD tv and wonderful photo’s. The connection is through the component input of your tv (not HDMI) , which has been proven to give better results than HDMI. With a 2 GB card you can film 65 minutes video.
