Every time we get a new Apple product it is made into a big event, when it comes to style Apple have got an amazing reputation and it is no different with the Apple MacBook Air.
While we have seen many hands-on reviews already, one of the best we have seen has been done by Pocket-Lint, their review of the Macbook Air includes no hype, no fanboy love, just the facts that you need to know.
Yes this stunning Mac Air is super slim and features cutting-edge technology, but it has a sealed battery and limited connectivity for a price of around £2028 ($3,098.00) for the 1.8GHz 64GB solid-state drive model.
Pocket-Lint summed up their review with a six out of ten score, their verdict was “If you like style over content then you’ll be happy, but we feel there are simply too many sacrifices in the MacBook Air to make it a compelling purchase”.

i broke mine ^^< not durable at all
The Pocket-Lint review is good, as far as it goes, but I don’t get the impression that they spent more than an hour with the machine or that they actually tried out most of what they mention. Most of it is physical description and things that could have been picked up from Apple’s press releases. I think the only thing they supply that you couldn’t get from looking at pictures or reading Apple’s site is that they think it’s a little too big. They also think that the multi-touch keypad is a gimmick, but again, there is no evidence that they’ve actually used it long enough to tell. I thought two-finger scrolling and right-clicking on the MacBook Pro was a gimmick at first, but now I feel lost without it on a Windows machine. The Pocket-Lint review was not a review, but should have been entitled “First Impressions Fifteen Minutes Out of the Box.”
I think there are many reasons not to like the Air (it’s not even an option I’d consider for anything at this point), but how about linking to a review that actually talks about the experience with the product and says something substantive? I’d agree with half of your statement that the review “includes no hype, no fanboy love, just the facts that you need to know” (the part up to “fanboy love”), but I’d replace “just the facts that you need to know” with “and no substance at all.” So not, it’s not hype, it’s not negative, it’s nothing at all…
