Orlando Bloom Set To Get Educated In New Indie Movie
By: Lucy | February 22, 2008
We’ve not seen much of Orlando Bloom since the third Pirates movies and it seems he’s begun to like his quiet life. Instead of jumping back into a big blockbuster, Bloom has signed on to a small, independent movie.
Bloom is set to take a supporting role in An Education, a film by Lone Scherfig. Variety has described the film as ‘a coming-of-age’ film set in 1960s London. The film follows the story of newcomer Kate Mulligan as a 17-year-old who embarks on a romance with a 30-year-old high flyer.
Bloom joins a cast which already includes Alfred Molina, Rosamund Pike, Emma Thompson and Olivia Williams.
