Is the Kojinsha E8 UMPC a competitor for Asus Eee PC?

We all know the Asus Eee PC is a cheap product for mass market but will the all new Kojinsha E8 UMPC be a competitor for Asus Eee PC? We will have to wait and see on this one.
They are definitely trying to aim the E8 UMPC for the same market as the Eee PC, has the E8 UMPC got what it takes to compete is another question.
The E8 UMPC does in fact have an added bonus seeing as it is a touchscreen tablet, some of the main features on this new UMPC from Kojinsha includes an AMD Geode LX800 CPU, runs Windows XP, 40GB hard drive plus a 7 inch screen which has 1024 x 600-pixel resolution.
Not only that, it also boasts USB port, 3.5 hours of battery life, memory card slot and stereo speakers. The price tag will be around $600 and should be available February 29th.
