Firefox
Ok the latest news is that SpreadFirefox are claiming that the brilliant Firefox has been downloaded a staggering 500 million times which is great news but come on surely they should stop counting now and put more use into time somewhere else.

To celebrate the event they are apparently raising 500,000,000 grains of rice to help feed the world’s poor which is great but come on.

Do you think they should stop counting the downloads now and put more time into market share or showing us some real good news which will make it all better than what it is already.

I agree with Mashable when they say downloads are pointless at this stage, and in that they mean who knows how many people are downloading Firefox for the first time or in fact how many are downloading the newer version or moving on further installing it on their computers.

  1. Jack Shelton says:

    Gee 500,000,000 Firefox downloads?

What a fete- when they get to 1,500,000,000 they will have as many downloads as Internet Explorer version 7

Or when they get to several billion they may have as many downloads as all the Internet Explorers
