The U.S. Navy has said that they have successfully fired down the rouge spy satellite, as they said that it posed a threat to people’s lives. The Defense Department said that they used a SM-3 missile which was fired from a ship in the Pacific.
The decision to shoot down the satellite has come under some concern from both China and Russia, as they feel that the U.S. is testing some new kind of space weapon. However Washington strongly denies this and maintain that is was purely as a safety measure.
Do you thing that the U.S. Military are hiding something?
