Top 10 Toy Predictions for 2008: Are these the toys you would choose?

I was reading the Daily Mirror today and came across the Top 10 Toy Predictions for 2008, what is funny the predictions for 2008 is for Christmas and it is only February. The number one spot goes to an electronic game called “Catch A Beast” which is by Bandai who are the makers of Tamagotchi.

The Catch A Beast game will arrive in the UK in June with a price tag of £19.99, Ok so what is this game all about? Well Catch A Beast is you being involved in snaring monster fish using a cool compass on the screen to track it to its lair, the handheld game seems pretty cool because once you have reeled your fish in your quarry with a virtual fishing line you can become friends with it and even teach it to battle.

We all know that electronic games is a big business and especially around Christmas time the fight for the top spot is a long battle, electronic games are big as well because they are means of fun where they fill the gap between kids out growing traditional toys and then moving onto the big named video games market.

The list below also shows that taken the number 2 slot is the game called Tamagotchi Familitchi (£12.99) also from Bandai, this game is based on a family of critters that will take on the attributes of their owner (You).
Even footballer David Beckham is on in the electronic gaming world because out in March comes The £12.99 David Beckham Academy Match-Master which is a cool game where you play the role of a trainer nurturing a promising soccer star.
The toy market at the moment in the UK alone is hitting a staggering £2.1billion.
