Natalie Portman Reveals She’s Ruthless When It Comes To Her Career

Natalie Portman looks so sweet and innocent, but looks can be deceiving. The actress has revealed that she can be a ‘scheming bitch’ when it comes to her career. The 29-year old actress has claimed that when she has her eye on a movie role, she’s ruthless.

At a recent press conference for her new film ‘The Other Boleyn Girl’, Portman said,

“I’m actually a scheming bitch!”

Co-star Scarlett Johansson, who was also at the press conference, replied,

“I don’t think you’re that kind of a person. You’re just healthily ambitious!”

Both actresses admitted that mastering the British accent for the film had been the hardest hurdle to overcome. Portman said,

“It totally takes me out of a movie when I hear British actors doing a bad American accent. It’s a scary thing. I can’t improvise with an accent at all!”

The Other Boleyn Girl had it’s London premiere last night.
