man vs machine
Engineer Ray Kurzweil has predicted that by 2029 machines will indeed match humans, machines will in fact have achieved human level artificial intelligence. This means by at least 2029 we may see tiny robots implanted in people brains which in return will make them more intelligent.

Ok so human-machine intelligence parity is going to be in full force by 2029, surely this is a dangerous thing to play with, and how do we know that the robots will not take over what we think and what we do?

Humans will have by the date given above hardware and software to deliver human level artificial intelligence, one of the intelligent machines is on the nano scale which will have interfaces to enhance our own physiology and intelligence.

Does the future scare you?

  1. Peter says:

It’s not madness. I’ll be 62 by then and I’m hoping such machines will enable me to enjoy a high-quality semi-retirement to a ripe old age with mental and physical enhancements as required.

Fears of such machines are mostly fuelled by anti-scientific “sci-fi” movies. Remember, they are still machines programmed by people for people. In our nanotech and AI future, expect evolving controls of these technologies - safe-gaurds, fail-safes, anti-virus, AI police, etc.

We’re not there yet but fear of these technologies is just fear of the new. Happened with cars, planes, etc…

Yes and good,i beleive this is the pure simple human evolution,as meant to be.
