Basshunter Ask For ‘Mercy’ As Duffy Stomps To The Number One Spot

Basshunter’s five-week run at the top of the charts has finally come to an end thanks to Welsh popstar Duffy. Debuting with her fantastic single Mercy, the singer has shot straight to number one on download sales alone!
Nickelback tried to hit the top spot but will have to settle for a respectful place at number two with their catchy tune ‘Rockstar’.
Another new comer this week is H ‘two’ O which entered the charts at number 7 with ‘What’s It Gonna Be’. The Feeling rose to number nine with ‘I Thought It Was Over’ and Goldfrapp took the tenth spot with their single ‘A&E’.
So, the UK Top Ten this weeks look like this:

I’ve got to hand it to Duffy - did you hear her on radio 1? she’s a nut job. very amusing and a good singer to boot. however, you can’t jig around a club in quite the same as you can to basshunter. His stuff is better if you listen to the Swedish versions.
