According to “The Hollywood Reporter” their reliable industry sources say that after a rash of retail defections that did indeed follow Warner Home Videos announcement in January, that they would support Blu-ray Disc format after May.

We all know that HD DVD is getting weaker and Blu-ray is getting stronger, none of this information is totally official as of yet but Jodi Sally who is Vice President for Toshiba America Consumer Products said that they believe HD DVD is best format for consumers.

Well personally Jodi Sally I believe you will be all out on plugging Blu-ray format and then returning to everyone saying it was the best move you ever made.

Sony backed website? Why should HD pull the plug now? This won’t be over till christmas and by then i expect HD to be back on top with consumers having decided once ps3s have sold through and the curious have made their token purchase.

digriz, you didn’t hear about walmart only supporting blu-ray now. Toshiba never got the big support from electronics, thus not winning, b/c they made things unprofitable for anyone else. now toshiba should drop hd-dvd and make a cheaper 2.0 blu-ray player, top of the line.
