firmare update
Toshiba have just recently released their new firmware update for a few of their HD DVD players which include the A3, D3, A30 and A35 which have basically migrated from v1.3 to 2.0.

Both of the Toshiba machines which are the A30 and A35 will now be capable of getting 1080p/24 video, plus some other changes are mostly fixes.

These fixes include HDMI/DVI handshakes and improvements to network connectivity plus it also sorts out a unique playback error which affected a portion of discs.

You can now install this new firmware in two different ways which are the first being downloading it via a direct Internet connection to you player or secondly burning it to disc and then installing the update manually. For the firmware update and instructions on how to do it all please visit Toshiba site here.
