Elmo Live: truly life like creation

Fisher price have just announced the new Elmo Live at the Toy Fair 2008 this week.
This new Elmo can mouth his words like a real-live Muppet, and can sit, stand and gesture as he tells stories, jokes, sings and play games.
Elmo’s mannerisms are right on target as his head bobbles back and forth as he speaks. Hewaves his arms, sits and stands, even crosses his legs, all the while telling stories and jokes, singing songs and playing games. Children can activate the magic with a tickle or a squeeze of Elmo’s foot, tummy, back or nose.
Jim Silver who is the editor in chief, Toy Wishes Magazine said that “The other Elmo toys made you laugh and dance, but Elmo Live really touches you. It’s so amazingly alive,”
Elmo Live will go on sale at retail nationwide on October 14, 2008, for around $60 and its said that pre-sale opportunities will be available in the spring for consumers to reserve Elmo Live for delivery on October 14.

hi, i just came across elmo live on a target email. never heard of it till now. watched the video on line(quite a few times) and i think he is amazing. he’s so like the real elmo and i couldn’t stop laughing when i watched him. i hope i can get him for my 2yr old grandson for christmas since he carries his elmo everywhere. linda anderson
