Apple TV 2.0 HD movie downloads compared to DVD, Blu-Ray, HD video on demand

While Apple TV 2.0 features what Apple calls “high-definition movie rentals”, we are familiar with calling this service video on demand and how do these HD movie downloads compare to DVD, Blu-Ray and other HD video on demand.
One site called “ilounge” wanted to find out the answer to this and have looked in great detail at the difference between the ways of getting video in the new age. They did find Apple TV rental, which is sent over the Internet looked “as could be expected from 720p” and “shy of the best a Blu-Ray Disc can offer on a top TV”.
