Razor E300 Electric Scooter
Why walk when you can zip around on the rather cool looking Razor E300 electric scooter.

This E300 electric scooter is a real eye catcher and as it can travel up to 15mph, it really would be quite hard to catch.

This environmentally friendly electric scooter comes with a powerful 300 watt chain driven motor that’s neatly hidden away under the footplate, which means it’s unbelievably quiet but can deliver the necessary power when needed.

Charge it up for 8 hours and you get 45 minutes of highly addictive scooter riding.

This scooter has a weight limit of 103 kilos/220lbs and is best suited for riders aged 16 and over.

Please note this scooter is not for use on the Public Roads!

I purchased an E300 in June of last year for my daughter and was amazed that the battery was only lasting for about 10 minutes. I contacted my supplier who referred me to another company who dealt with any problems. These people were very helpful ( replacing the batteries ) but the problem still persists. I contacted my original supplier to see if they would offer any help and was told that 10 minutes on the batteries seemed normal. This hardly complies with the advertising blurb that you will get 45 minutes of addictive scooter riding. If my experience is anything to go by I would avoid this product like the plague.

In my experience (several years now), the E300 battery should last 45 minutes to an hour on SMOOTH LEVEL ground with a 150 pound rider and properly inflated tires. As the weight of the rider increases, or the inflation decreases, or the ground begins to incline or become dirt or gravel, then the power drain increases. The biggest draw is uphill riding. The E300 was only designed for level riding.

Keep in mind that it’s a lead-acid battery, which is the same kind that you have in your car. Therefore, don’t store the scooter with a dead battery, or (even worse) store it unplugged with the power switch left on. This will render the battery unable to hold a charge, and will require battery replacement. Last time I looked at Razor’s website, that battery was out of stock.

Final caveat: Grabbing a fistfull of brake on a steep downhill will instantly destroy the entire brake system, as I found out the hard way the first day I owned one. Razor fixed it, and ever since then I’ve had no trouble with the E300’s brakes.
