XPERIA X1 “arc slider” by Sony Ericsson

During the press conference at the Mobile World Congress Sony Ericsson have used this opportunity to launch the “XPERIA”, they says that this is a new era in mobile communications and the X1 is a new ‘arc slider’ phone.
The XPERIA X1 has a 3 inch wide touch screen and a full qwerty keyboard with a 4 way key and optical joystick, all held together in a metallic body. The ‘arc’ design means thast you are able to slide the screen side ways so that you can access the qwerty keyboard. It is also designed to meet the growing needs for mobile web communication.
The XPERIA X1 will be available in the later part of 2008.
