Door Key Replaced by Remote Mobile Service

It looks as if there may be a concept phone which would mean you won’t have to carry your house keys about any longer, it is from DoCoMo called Osaifu-Keitai andit will work with a special door lock which will replace your normal lock and key.
This is great as it can let you know by text message when people arrive at home, your other half or your kids. There will also be the option to check the status of your lock remotely via an i-mode website.
There has been no word as to when we will see this device in the UK and there is no news of the cost either.
