Walt Disney World Florida: new attraction based on American Idol

Walt Disney World in Florida has announced that it is to create a new attraction based on reality show American Idol.
This attraction will mean that guests over the age of 14 will be able to sing live in front of a Disney casting producer for the chance to perform in one of the park’s Idol shows.
It’s said that successful contestants will then work with a vocal coach, hairdresser and makeup artist before stepping out on to the stage in front of an audience and three judges.
Those with the highest number of votes will battle it out in an end-of-day Grand Finale, with the winner receiving a guaranteed reservation for a future audition of the Fox talent search.
The attraction will replace ‘Doug Live!’ and ‘Superstar Television’ at the theme park’s Hollywood Studios. It is scheduled to open towards the end of the year.
