HydroTap: Chilled & Boiled Water in an Instant

I always hate waiting for the kettle to boil, especially on a morning when you need to have that first tea or coffee. Well here’s the answer to all of our prayers.

It’s a tap which can dispense; boiling water in an instant and it will also dispense filtered chilled water at the touch of a button.

It’s called the HydroTap and it’s apparently 40% more efficient that your average kettle, but its expensive just like anything else and at £2,000 it’s a lot more than a kettle.

It does however have two sleep modes which make it more energy efficient, and they can be set to ‘power down’ after either 2 or 4 hours. There is also a safety lock feature on the tap, which is great just in case the kids try and turn it on.
