Well following on from my news which was “Will they incorporate new 45nm Cell processor in Sony PS3? Well the answer is, it seems so indeed.
IBM have finally jumped on the chip wagon and have solidified its own 45nm plans for Cell, the new chip from them will use around 40 percent less power and will be 34 percent smaller than the already know 65nm version. Oh yes lower heat and much more reliability. So all we need to do now is wait for the release date of when the Sony PS3 will see these little beauties.
