Shuttle Launch Nasa confirms debris
Following on from the news earlier about the Atlantis Shuttle Launch Today, the Shuttle has now lifted off but we are hearing that Nasa has confirmed in the last few minutes that 3 pieces of debris or foam come off during launch.

Atlantis and its seven-man crew headed into space from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, although Nasa officials will need to look at cameras in more details, they have said the “foam or other debris come off the fuel tank during lift-off”.

It will be confirmed if this affects the mission in anyway when the astronauts use a laser inspection pole during Friday to survey the spaceship.
