Shuttle Launch: Nasa confirms 3 pieces of debris or foam come off

Atlantis and its seven-man crew headed into space from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, although Nasa officials will need to look at cameras in more details, they have said the “foam or other debris come off the fuel tank during lift-off”.
It will be confirmed if this affects the mission in anyway when the astronauts use a laser inspection pole during Friday to survey the spaceship.
