P Diddy Set To Retire From Music To Pursue Acting

I can’t quite work out if this is sad news for the music business or sad news for the film industry but it seems rapper Sean Combs (Diddy) is retiring from music in order to pursue a full time acting career.

Ok, so maybe I was a little harsh, the rapper was great in Oscar-winning Monster’s Ball back in 2001 but I just hope he doesn’t decide to pick stereotypical roles and actually surprises us with what he’s capable of.

Diddy has said of his Broadway role in A Raisin In The Sun, “Right now I’m transitioning from a recording artist to acting. Having an opportunity to play this role, it really changed my life.
