First Look: Quantum of Solace Teaser Poster

Ever since the title for the 22nd Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, was revealed, people have been dying to see, hear or even smell something new about the film. Today their prayers are answered – in the form of the first Quantum of Solace teaser poster!
The poster itself is really simple, yet effective. For now, all we need is a mysterious shadow of Bond holding what can only be described as a fucking great big gun!
Empire has said that the poster says ‘vengeance’ and I totally agree. Afterall, the movie follows Bond as he searches for answers about the death of his lost love, Vesper Lynd.

Its basically a representation of the final scene of Casino Royale (and presumably the first of Quantum Of Solace) isn’t it?
Looks a little too much like a machine gun for my taste for Bond (hated that Brosnan always seemed to end up with one), but it is the gun from CR I think.
An odd poster. Eye catching in its way, which is the point, but I’m not yet sure that I like it.
