Britney Spears Has Been Released From Hospital

It has been reported that Britney Spears has been released from the psychiatric ward at Ucla Medical Center yesterday.

Britney was committed to the Resnick Neuropsychiatric wing of the Los Angeles hospital on Thursday (31Jan07) upon the advice of her personal doctor.

A law enforcement officer has said that they released her “because she was no longer required to stay there after 11:30 AM.” Apparently, the docs at the hospital didn’t feel like she was a

threat to herself anymore.

It is understood the Britney’s parents, who have taken control of her legal, financial and security affairs, hired the new bodyguard.

The mystery bodyguard has established a fearsome reputation among the Los Angeles paparazzi for his ruthless efforts to keep his clients safe at all costs.

Britney’s parents, who are clearly frustrated with their daughter, released the following statement to CNN’s Anderson Cooper:

“As parents of an adult child in the throws of a mental health crisis, we were extremely disappointed this morning to learn that over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist, our daughter Britney was released from the hospital that could best care for her and keep her safe. We are deeply concerned about our daughter’s safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded. We ask only that the court’s orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted.”
