The Mind Chair Sends Moving Images To Your Brain Via The Skin’s Nerves

By looking at this chair you could mistake it for any other chair from any other design house, but you’d be wrong. This chair, called The Mind Chair, has been designed by London designers Peter Marigold and Beta Tank.

Unlike any other, this chair uses sensory substitution technology to transmit high-definition moving imagery to the users brain nerves in the skin rather than the eyes.
The person sitting on the chair will visualise clear and high definition moving images in their mind. How cool is that?

The chair is set to go on display at the MoMA in New York from February 24 to May 22.

What do you think of this chair?
