It has been found that over 3m people now have Sky+ and SkyHD has taken up the final quarter of last year. The growth in Sky+ customers rose by 16% which means that 3.13m people have Sky+ and there ere also 64,000 customers who have opted for the benefit of SkyHD which is an increase of 422,000.
If Sky is doing so well then why can’t they reduce the price of the packages, I have Sky at the moment and I’m paying £17 per month and really there’s not much other than the soap operas that I can find to watch. I’m thinking of cutting my losses and buying a digi box.
Pleased that the company is doing well, but they should think about the long term customers and give back some of what has been put in, especially as they have a poor customer service.
When my sister moved home she wanted multi-room installing, and had to pay a call out charge, she waited in most of the day only to find out that the men who came to do the job didn’t have the equipment for multi-room. My father also had problems to organise an engineer to come out and look at the Sky+ box.
What do you think about what they have to offer for value for money, and how do you rate their customer service skills.

I think Sky have dropped the ball as they have not recognised the change in market.
3 years ago freeview barely existed, and sky+ was unique, now you can buy a high spec freeview PVR for 200 quid and then no subscriptions.
Sky is the place to get the best sport coverage, but is £420 per year (£35 x 12 months every year) worth it ?
