It has been announced by LeapFrop that they will be releasing a new handheld for kids to play and lean, it called the Didj, it will be released sometime in the summer at a price of around $90.00. although this little handheld is aimed at the age range 6 to 10 year year olds, they are saying that it is not in competition with the Nintendo DS.

I’m sure that most parents will like this as its educational rather than just a gaming device, there is no WiFi available, but the Didj will work with a LeapFrop Connect Application, which allows children to customise game content via USB.

Who will it really be fore though the kids or the parents?
