Spiderman’s Rival Gets His Own Spinoff

When it was announced that Venom would appear in Spiderman 3, the fans were delighted but when the film was released, many were disappointed at the way the character was mishandled. But the Venom fans will be very happy if this rumour gets confirmed.

It’s been reported that Marvel are planning a stand alone movie for Venom and is already in discussions with some ‘A-list writers’ (the studio have stuck a deal with the WGA so are allowed to do this).

If done well, I’m pretty sure the Venom movie could be as successful as Spiderman - just think, the film would be as cute and geeky as Spiderman to begin with but filled with carnage and rage at the end! Gets my vote!!
