Sony PS3 Slim launching this Autumn Rumor: Do you reckon?

Ok then a new Sony PS3 Slim is coming this autumn, ok this is a rumor we know but according to T3 they are reporting a slim line version on the Sony Playstation 3. T3 have a well informed insider that knows everything.
Apparently and I say apparently the new Sony PS3 Slim will be much slimmer and lighter than the current gaming console (Obviously), I love that bit, it will be slimmer and lighter, is that because it is called the Sony PS3 Slim, that kind of gives it away really.
Personally I will put this in the “maybe it will happen corner“, and when it does happen, I will take it out and give it a cuddle.

t3 has a reputation for making stuff up so i doubt this is true, but i do believe sony will be making new models of ps3 in the near future
I hope it does go slim just not this soon as i was an early ps3 owner and i would feel ripped off!
Its a nice idea, but, i dont see why they didnt event it in the first place.

It’s good to see how utterly RETARDED you are. Excuse me for a moment while I step out to my lab where I will “event” something. The word is INVENT you know nothing twit. And the reason they don’t just out the slimline versions of products right away is because the production costs of the technology that these systems utilize is absolutely embarrassing. In addition, Sony can keep a consumer’s attention if they consistently have new updates and improvements on current products between console releases. Any questions? Loser.

Actually, event is an appropriate word to use in that situation. Your the one thats a twit. Your either british, or your a 9 year old. Because noone uses that word except those two groups.

Defending the definition of “event” as a term for creating something new, using phrases like ‘your the one thats a twit’ (the proper use, FYI, is “you’re”), clumping two, completely opposite, entire groups of people together by saying only the British and 9yr olds use the word ‘Twit’ thus insulting THREE groups of people, and finally “eventing” a new word - noone (is that when you have no guests for noon lunch?) - you have no right, sir, to comment on things of grammar until you, yourself, graduate gradeschool.
And, I’ll have you know, I am neither british or 9 years old and I will happily use the word Twit to define you and anyone else who decides to have an argument about grammar on a post about video game systems.

Didn’t the slim PS2 sacrafice ports and what-not? I think it’s fairly inevitable that the PS3 will have a slimmer model at some point but will it sacrifice anything doing so?
just the HDD Port and they removed the Dialup modem…not too harsh a loss…but for the ps3 they may have to sacrifice more but i’m sure they’d work it out

because the chips shrink every two years, so they need less power and produce less heat.
the first ps3 need bigger fans, bigger cooler system and bigger power supply, if they try to put all of this in tiny space or with basic cooling system… well just ask microsoft what could happened.
but they will not use 45nm CELL chips until late this year, and even with the 45nm i dont think they can put it without cooling system or fans, maybe with the 32nm…
so… a ps3 slim will see the light, but i think someone just potoshop the ps3 and predict it, to their ego so they can say they said it before anyone.
but will take time, maybe years to see the light
Dont worry its all a rumor.. as soon as psp slim & lite came out everyone thought of making existing consoles smaller and more compact. And when the BULKY ps3 came out they ( the public) thought hey it could be smaller!… the picture is from the concept of the ps3 when it started. along with the boomarang controller which never was released.. listen the slim & lite will only come out when a new console arrives… like the rest… sony siad they will not end ps3 production and not start another playstation for at least 10 years! so sorry guys nd gals but nop slim and lite ps3 coming soon

it has to be cheaper, my parents doesn’t want it cause it’s expensive… i would love to have a PS3 slim
