Room Tech Connected Devices from Hasbro

It has been announced by Hasbro that they will be launching a connected lamp and radio alarm clock. They will be called the Room Tech lamp and Room Tech Clock, the whole idea of this is that when the alarm goes it will turn on the lamp for you.
The alarm clock will stamp on the bedside table to wake the kids up (or grown ups) with its arms or you can be woken up by sounds from the radio or MP3 player. There is a wireless link that connects the alarm and the lamp so that it will turn on for you.
The lamp is a Martian that has a dome head and it lights up, kids can choose which colour they would like his head to be. The lamp also has speakers so that an MP3 player may be plugged in and played.
The clock and lamp will be due out late September and the units will cost £39.99
