Is This The End For Motorola???

It seems as if Motorola is caving into the pressure that it is receiving from investor Carl Icahn, who recently called for the business to be sold after it was making a loss. Half of the revenue comes from Motorola’s phone division.

It has already been said by analysts that buyers will not be interested in purchasing the business as it is ‘clearly struggling’.

Carl-Henric Svanberg, Sony Chief Executive told analysts “As professional business leaders we look at everything, but we would take a very cautious view on such a thing because we do believe you are better off doing it on your own”,

Could this be the end of Motorola???
