Ultra II SD Card Speed and Capacity Boosted

SanDisk has announced that they will be releasing a 32MB SDHC card with increased read and write speeds, the 8Gb version will have a two in one.

The cards offer read and write speeds of up to 15 megabytes per second which is faster than the previous 10 MB/sec.

The 32 GB Ultra II SDHC will have the highest capacity Flash memory that SanDisk produce. The 32 and 16 GB cards will be bundled together with MicroMate USB 2.0 reader, which is a simpler way to transfer files to your PC. This feature already exist in the 8 GB Ultra II card which will flip open to so your can take it straight from your device to your PC so there’s no need for a card reader. The cards have undergone testing to show the durability of more than 10,000 open and closing cycles.

The cards are on the pricy side but look worth it they will be available in March and prices will start from £99 to $349.
