Madeline McCann’s Parents No Longer Suspects
By: Daniel Chubb | February 3, 2008 | 5 Comments
A lot of people have an opinion on whether Gerry and Kate McCann were involved with the disappearance of they daughter Madeline McCann. I personally think that there is something not quite right along the way.
The children should NEVER have been left alone, that distance was too far, but should have action taken against them on leaving their three children alone in an apartment! I have heard a lot of comments from people saying that if they weren’t professional people would Social Services have been involved or charges brought against them.
But it appears now that the top Policemen in Portugal have said detectives were too ‘hasty’ in making Madeline’s parents suspects in her disappearance.
The national director of the PJ (Policia Judiciaria) Alipio Ribeiro has said that he believes perhaps should have been another assessment” There is to be an interview broadcast on Sunday between Mr Riberio and Portugal’s Radio Renasenca in which he said that there was a ‘certain hastiness’.
The spokesperson for the McCann’s asked that Kate and Gerry be formally cleared and welcomed the comments from the senior officer. He said: “Now that the national director of the Policia Judiciaria apparently accepts that they should not have been made arguido, it follows that there is no case for Kate and Gerry to answer.”
Hopefully some news will come of missing Madeline and that she is found soon.
