Casio EX-F1 With No Shutter: pictures that are invisible to the naked eye
By: Daniel Chubb | February 3, 2008
This is the Casio EX-F1 camera that has no shutter; it can take pictures that are invisible to the naked eye. The EX-F1 can reach 1,200 fps, which is the speed that expensive industrial cameras achieve.
The Casio EX-F1 is due to be released in March sometime and will feature the ability to shoot full HD (1080/60i) H.264 movies and a continuous shooting speed of 60 frames per second…all this comes at a cost of around $1,220.

This is expensive, but the EX-F1 is an innovative camera and sports functions that other cameras do not have, although many camera users will not need or recognize these unique features. The people who will buy the EX-F1 are those that understand that it can take pictures that are invisible to the naked eye and pictures that even a digital SLR with a high-speed auto-focus function cannot shoot.
