It has been said that Amy Winehouse’s father will not let Amy perform at this year’s (08) Grammy Awards insisting his troubled daughter is not ready for the pressure of a live show.
Mitch Winehouse fears that Amy is too fragile to cope with performing at such a prestigious event, but is happy she is finally getting the help she needs.
Mitch said that “I’m not sure the Grammys are going to happen. I don’t want her to go - I think it might be a bit too soon for her. She’s not well - that’s why she’s in rehab. But she’s doing OK. She is getting good treatment”.
Amy has been nominated for six awards at this year’s (08) Grammys, and was reportedly planning to perform at the 10 February (08) gig to mark the end to her stint in rehab.
Do you think her dad is right to stop her?
