Detachable Screen Patented by Sony Ericsson

This new patent by Sony Ericsson does seem like a good idea on the face of it, a detachable screen for phone users, it has been called ‘Detachable Housings for a Wireless Communication Device’.
The phones could offer all of the usual feature and also still remain reasonably slim. There will be two detachable screen housings, they want the user to be able to use different screens for different functions i.e. One unit could be hold GPS, Camera whilst the other screen has a different set of functions, this would allow the user to switch screens. The patent also explains that both of the housing could communicate with each other via Bluetooth.
The main downside is, would it be practical to keep swapping units, and would they break easy with being swapped over. Also I would lose one of the screens easy; I have a hard enough time keeping hold of one phone.
